The contract for the provision of a Commercial Vehicles Survey has been awarded to Ipsos Social Research.
The objective of the survey is to analyse the way in which commercial vehicles use the transport network, in order to support infrastructure investment decision-making. The survey is expected to be conducted over two years once the methodology is developed.
​Ipsos is a global market research agency, with a presence in 83 countries. The company specialises in research for the public sector and has significant experience conducting travel surveys around the world, including across Australia. We also awarded Ipsos the contract for the provision of an integrated Household Travel Survey and Stated Preference Survey in 2017.
