​The Main Roads' Incident Response Service has proved to be a vital service for Perth, ensuring incidents and debris are cleared quickly, so you spend less time in unexpected traffic queues.

The service has been operating Monday-to-Friday since inception in 2012. However, we recognise that you don't only travel on weekdays so we are now expanding our service to operate seven days a week and covering more road across our metropolitan state network.

The expanded coverage also includes new vehicles to enhance the service across Perth:

  • Our newest Incident Response vehicle is the first of its kind in Australia, and provides enhanced safety protection for our staff in high-speed environments, while they work on getting you moving again.
  • Our new road rake gets debris and litter off the road quickly making sure you spend less time in unexpected delays.
