​Tonkin Grade Separations: Public comment sought on matters of national environmental significance

The proposed NorthLink WA – Tonkin Grade Separations initiative includes:

  • The introduction of interchanges at Tonkin Highway’s junctions with Collier Road and Morley Drive;
  • A bridge taking Benara Road over Tonkin Highway; and
  • Associated road widening and upgrading.

The Australian Department of the Environment sought public comment on matters of national environmental significance for the project from 8 to 22 July 2015.

In accordance with section 95(B)2 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, we have published our response to public submissions, following public comment on the preliminary documentation for the Tonkin Grade Separations project.  Responses to submissions can be found here.
