Project Update

Manning Road reduced capacity

Works are underway on Manning Road to enable widening and reconstruction. Access to and from Edgecumbe Street  has been reinstated. Access to Lockhart Street from Manning Road was closed on Tuesday 10 March. Detailed information is provided under 'Roadworks'.

Plan your journey and expect delays when moving through roadworks, especially at peak times. Lane and intersection closures will continue through March and April. Further lane closures to apply from April to the end of the project.

Visit our Travel Map  to find all details of future roadworks and closures, as construction progresses.

Kwinana Freeway southbound

Temporary traffic management is in place and lanes have been realigned and merge facilities alternated from the Canning Highway and Manning Road on-ramps. An 80 km/h speed reduction also applies on the southbound lanes of the freeway through the work zone.

Please follow all signs and signals as you travel through the area.

We are liaising closely with the local community and stakeholders throughout the project delivery.

Residents at the boundaries of the project, as well as other relevant local business owners, special interest groups and neighbouring landowners have been directly engaged since mid-2017.

A Noise Management Plan is in operation to manage construction related noise.
